Known issues for the Flooding app (map and flood view). This page focuses on slow performance and odd visuals.
1. App lag and unwanted patches with multiple tabs/apps (M1 Mac)
Symptoms
- Lag: The app runs slow when many Chrome tabs are open and other apps are running.
- Unwanted patches: The map is harder to read. In some areas the basemap shifts or glitches to another basemap.
Environment
- Device: M1 MacBook Air
- Browser: Chrome, with multiple tabs and other apps open
When it happens
- It happens when many Chrome tabs and other apps are open on an M1 MacBook Air.
