This is building and running on Melissa’s Computer. But a run cannot be made due to what we think is a Neutshell1 issue. The TIM, mas, INF, out, pcl, and PLT.
The IIT biz laptop has an older version that runs. It does not have bridges or the ability to import a flow file.
The working version is also using VS 2017 while the version in git use 2019.

Downloading HEC_RAS

hec_ras download takes you to the download page. You can download HEC_RAS for windows, Linux, or the example data sets from here.
There is a HEC_RAS 6 in beta.
HEC_RAS 5.0.7 has been out since March 2019. It is the current standard.
HEC_RAS must be installed and Run once before you can run a flow management program on a new environment.

Current Database for RSMS

The current Database is in SQL Server not PG.
There are links for database diagrams on Lucid Chart. Look for the 2020 folder.

There are only diagrams for
- River Basin Database
- USGS Stations Database
- Spills Database
- Simulation Results Database
The aspnet-rsms2016-20151214042838 is the authentication and authorization database.
iCharts database should not be used anymore. After Jake or I make sure there are no references this database can be taken out.

Installing the Database on a new computer

We are using SQL Server Express for our server instance. It can be downloaded from sql-server-downloads
We are using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. It can be found sql-server-ver15 This is a how to guide with links and instructions.
