Riverflows Frontend Quickstart

1. Navigate to the Map page to view all 4077 stations as pushpins in a map.

2. Click on a station pushpin to see its details.

   1. The River_Stat field contains the station's name which is also the station's river mile.
   2. On the Ohio River, all stations/river miles are negative with 0 in Pittsburgh.

3. After you've selected a station, navigate to the Daily Flows page.

   caution

   A station MUST be selected for the Daily Flows page to properly display data.

4. The default data view for the selected station will show 90 days of data starting on 11/14/2009.

5. You can utilize the following functionality on the Daily Flows page:

   1. Toggle min/average/max timeseries lines on and off.
   2. Export the underlying data as CSV with the graph's hamburger menu.
   3. Export the graph as an SVG or PNG with the graph's hamburger menu.
   4. Change the Date Start on the graph (then click Apply).
   5. Change the number of days displayed in the graph (then click Apply).
   6. Change the data type being graphed: Flow, Velocity, Stage (then click Apply).
