Questions For ORSANCO by database
ORSANCO_Bacteria_Contact_Rec.mdb
Q1. Can we get a sample of an excel sheet or a report that the data is used for?
Q2. Are the tables with generic names like 'Paste Errors', 'Sheet1', and 'Sheet1$_ImportErrors' still in use, or were they created as temporary tables?
Q3. The tables with data in there name cause a little bit of confusion. There are 4 tables with data in the name and a lot of similarities in this database three of these have a small date range and one has a very large date range. The ones with a small date range are Sept-Oct 07 update, July-Sept 4 update, and 2010 Data for Import. The one with the very large date range is '92-'22 BacT data. They all contain the columns:
- SiteName
- Date
- FECAL COLIFORM
- E COLI
- Fecal Flag
- Ecoli Flag
Q4. With July-Sept 4 update, and 2010 Data for Import having additional columns and then '92-'22 BacT data all the columns in the other three databases and more. So my question is are the Sept-Oct 07 update, July-Sept 4 update, and 2010 Data for Import tables a subset of '92-'22 BacT data?
Q5.Were the Sept-Oct 07 update, July-Sept 4 update, and 2010 Data for Import supposed to be temporary?
Q6. Is the table with generic name like 'Sheet1,' still in use, or was it created as a temporary table?
Q7. Are the queries with generic names like 'Query1', 'Query2', 'Query3' and 'Query4' still in use, or were they created as temporary Queries?

Q1. Can we get a sample of an excel sheet or a report that the data is used for? Q2. It looks Detect-RDL Charts still runs is this a form that you still use? Q3. The report QryQualityMonitorFormat does not run can this form be removed?
Q4. We've noticed the existence of several tables with similar names, like 0116Dups, 0117Dups, and 0316Dups. Additionally, there are tables labeled 14SeptDups, 15JulDups, 15NovDups, and 15SeptDups. We would like to combine these tables into a Dups table. It would contain all of the columns in the Dubs with an additional column a text type named description with the name or part of the name of the table this data originally came from. For instance the description could be 0116Dubs or just 0116. Do you forsee any issues with this change?
Q5. If we create a common table for Dubs as stated above in question then we would like to continue with this trend and create tables like Events and SampleData as there are tables with names such as 0117Events, 0117SAMPDATA similarly to 0117Dups. Do you see any issues with implementing this change?
Q6. Are the tables with generic names like 'Sheet2,' 'Sheet5' and 'Sheet6' still in use, or were they created as temporary tables?
Q7. Are the queries with generic names like 'Query1', 'QueryDNew' and 'QueryDOne' still in use, or were they created as temporary Queries?

Would you object to creating common tables such as Events, Samples, and Data and then having an additional column that would refer to there previous table such as 0516 as a description?

Q1. We've noticed there are numerous yearly tables in this database, such as 'All 2011 habitat' and 'All 2013 habitat.' In order to reduce the number of table we would like to create a new table called 'All habitat'. The All Habitat table would contain all of the columns the previous tables with an additional description column that would contain the year or the table name where this data came from. Do you forsee any issues with consolidating the database in this way?
Q2. You have two forms in ORSANCO_Fish Event and Population. Are these still in use?

Q1. Can we get a sample of an excel sheet or a report that the data is used for?
Q2. We have notices there are some tables with similar names in this database we think they would be good candidates for combining to make a common table for instance, consider tables like 'Rmi Adjusted Metrics MH (100MIN),' 'Rmi Adjusted Metrics MH (150MIN),' and 'Rmi Adjusted Metrics MH (200MIN).' Do you have any objection about combining them and creating a column with the amount of Min as a description that you could filter or query against?
Q3. Additionally, there are tables with tags like '-2015' or '-2013.' Do you see any issues with combining the tables together and adding the year as a column? For example, 'Rmi Adjusted Metrics MH200min - 2015' and 'Rmi Adjusted Metrics MH200min.'
Q4.The Macro Candidate Count metrics in this database runs is it still in use?
