Chama Road Map

Current Tasklist

  1. Insert into the Database for both python files (Generate Chama Inputs is currently working. Chama Opt is in progress.)
    1. Modify code so that it uses manage.py to run the scripts.
    2. Clean up the code.
  2. Make Runs with database.
    1. Put the Runs made with he database into the Chama One Note.
      1. The Chama One Note has been started right now there are no runs in the one note as I am going to use the results for the database.
  3. Minimize Damage this is what I was working on before the database stuff started.
    1. Once I know how to model this we will have 8 more formulated runs.
    2. This will also be testing the Land Vs Node/Pipe.
  4. Once the Process on how to make each run has been defined then we can figure out how to automate them and setup the Django project front end.

For each network there will only be 4 unique INP files right now. These inp files are all very similar. The inp files are:

  1. Single Rain gage Single Plume
  2. Single Rain gage Multiple Plume
  3. Multiple Rain gage Single Plume
  4. Multiple Rain gage Multiple Plume

Where we are measuring the contaminate.

The are only 2 locations where we are going to measure the contaminate at.

  1. Land
  2. Node(This includes Pipes as well.)

The Land contaminate will be measured at the Subcatchment as we need to measure the output buildup and that value is at subcatchment level. This will mean a change to the locations of sensors where the sensors are currently being placed at the outlet of a subcatchment (This is a junction) The sensor will be placed at the subcatchment instead.

Chama Formulation

  1. Impact
  2. Coverage

Optimization Approach

  1. Minimize Detection Time
  2. Minimize Damage
  3. Maximize Monitored Coverage area
  4. Minimize Scenario Detection Time
